The Welcome page shows the view of the Worcester and Birmingham Canal as seen from just outside of the conservatory at the Eagle and Sun. The pub's history is intrinsically linked to the canal which is approaching 200 years old. The towpath along the canal is very popular with walkers.

In September 2004 the conservatory extention was added to the rear of the pub. It is able to seat up to 50 people. The 'Canal Room' as we now like to call it is very popular with parties, and daytripping groups. It is therefore

 the ideal lunch or dinner venue for those visiting the area. The conservatory offers a wonderful view of the canal and the narrow boats. On the left the room is seen prepared for a wedding reception. The canal view can also be seen in the background

For those prefering the traditional British Pub atmosphere, the main lounge occupies the whole of the older section of the pub and has a capacity for 65 people. We are flexible with seating arrangements and provide for all sizes of party whether in the conservatory or in the original bar but it is advisable to book early.
